This blog features portions of my not yet published poems.

why write?

I have to write what I hear in my head, what I dream in my sleep, what my bones ache to express.

My poems tell stories of strength, love, regret, disobedience, loss, hope, redemption, and whatever whispers.

it's something to get rid of

Here’s part of “it’s something to get rid of”:

bigoted

       incessant

                 weeds

overtake

       climb in windows

              beds

                   grounds

excavate

cleave

sieve

destroy

compact

flatten weed fabric

secure retainer stone

drop screenings

now

dump       five       tons

frictioned       river rock

this something       rips       nails       from       beds
