I have to write what I hear in my head, what I dream in my sleep, what my bones ache to express.

COVID-19 sacrament

I’m in the Radiation Clinic, waiting.  

Every time I enter the main doors of the Cancer Center, I’m reminded of the communion sacrament, as I cup my hands to receive the hand sanitizer.



 

Here’s a haiku:

 

I enter the doors

 

COVID-19 sacrament
